Yesterday afternoon Stacy and I took a quick trip out of town to see how high Middle River had become with recent rain water and flooding—it was impressive to see the water as high as it was—well out of it’s banks (covering even the parking above the river, for those familiar with the area) and near the bottom of the bridge.  Earlier in the day the water had been even higher, covering the road farther south (near where the red vehicle pictured was driving).
