“Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable”
Plato’s Laws

As I look forward to six month’s passing and the arrivial of a little boy in this world, I must acknowledge that I may not have lived my early life as most boys and that, even in what I consider my uneventful behavior, I was still (and am still) a crazy boy and impulsive at heart. What a fantastic and seemingly unmanagable task to think of being responsible to teach a little boy, a man-to-be, how to see the world and, through faith, surrender his natural impulse to freedom in Christ. I think Plato’s words will bring me comfort in the coming years that my son is not the only to be unmindful by his nature!
