Last night I picked up a very clean Roland Chorus Echo SRE-555 at an unbelievable price. My intention was to flip it for quick cash, but after confirming everything was working perfectly (and it was) I believe I better understand what all the fuss is about. Here’s a long/trailing ten minute sample from my hour of noodling last night. This effect adds a lot to an otherwise thin sounding instrument. I may just need to hold on to it for a while. As a collectors piece, it should only increase in value over the years, right? 😉
